In this series of workshop, you will have an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the classical Pilates method beyond your certification.
Each Month will explore an exercise or group of exercises of the Method: we will explore the components of the movement, the challenges, how to help students develop the skills needed to approach the exercise and connect them to the whole Pilates system.
AUGUST: This month we will explore HIGH SCISSORS, BICYCLE and SHOULDER BRIDGE.
This month, we will focus on
how to build the skills required for such challenging movements
where to practice the exercises, get the movements into the body before practising them on to the mat
how to develop a strong lifted position
how to transition from one movement to the other, safely and efficiently
